THE OBJECTIVE To create impactful experiences and bring visions to life. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and detail‑oriented talent who thrives in managing the day‑to‑day intricacies of event production and stays current—if not ahead—of trends in the meetings and events industry. As a mindful and creative Producer, you will develop, manage, and deliver meetings and event programmes for private‑sector clients within an international environment, leveraging the full range of MCI’s event solutions. You will be responsible for effectively managing projects and events from concept to execution—ensuring they align with project timelines, priorities, resource availability, and key requirements to achieve high‑quality outcomes. THE WORK Project Management (40%) Take full ownership and management of assigned projects, including virtual, hybrid, and live events. Lead end‑to‑end planning: budgeting, programme and itinerary development, stakeholder engagement, and identifying upsell opportunities while ensuring all project requirements are met. Deliver the full range of MCI services to existing and prospective clients with professionalism and creativity. Conduct internal pre‑event briefings and post‑event debriefings, incorporating data analysis and market insights to drive continuous improvement. Provide cross‑functional support to other SBUs and teams as needed, in the broader interest of MCI. Ensure adherence to key processes, standards, and quality benchmarks across all assigned projects Leadership & Relationship Management (30%) Represent MCI at selected industry events, exhibitions, and social engagements to build brand presence and expand professional networks. Plan, structure, and delegate operational roles within event/project teams based on individual strengths, skills, and expertise. Recognise team members’ potential and contributions; empower, mentor, and guide them to support their professional development. Foster effective internal communication within event/project teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and seamless execution. Maintain high levels of enthusiasm, motivation, and professional standards within the teams you lead. Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to team and project members to strengthen capabilities and ensure consistent performance. Maintain regular, clear, and proactive communication with clients to monitor satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships. Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers—negotiating competitive pricing, securing favourable terms, establishing credit arrangements, coordinating invoicing, and conducting supplier visits where appropriate. Financial Management (20%) Ensure the profitability of all assigned events and projects by closely managing, tracking, and verifying all income and expenditures. Monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and adherence to budgetary targets. Support timely invoicing, vendor payments, and financial reconciliation to maintain strong financial governance. Administration & IT (10%) Maintain and update all managerial tools—such as PMT, Clockwork, and relevant files or databases—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity. Ensure proper documentation, version control, and timely updating of project-related information across internal systems. Leverage digital tools and platforms to support efficient project management and reporting THE MUST HAVES Fluency in English, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all levels of management. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the meetings and events industry, demonstrating steady progression in scope, responsibilities, and leadership.
