Job Summary A Service Crew member in food & beverage or retail delivers excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking and serving orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly upon arrival and assist with seating to create a welcoming atmosphere Present menus and answer customer questions to help them make informed food and beverage choices Accurately take customer orders and recommend menu items to enhance their experience Serve food and drinks efficiently and correctly to meet customer expectations Prepare itemised bills including sales tax and process payments via cash or credit card securely Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, work stations, and restrooms to ensure hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and timely service delivery Preferred competencies and qualifications Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction Use clear interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues Work cooperatively with team members to achieve shared goals Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude to create a pleasant customer experience Demonstrate accuracy in order taking, payment handling, and cleanliness maintenance
