Metal Production Manager

Job Overview We are looking for a hands-on Metal Production Manager to lead our metal fabrication production operations. You will be responsible for material planning, organizing production workflow, and managing the production team, and ensuring jobs/ projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Calculation material requirements from engineering drawings and optimize material usage. Plan and organize daily production schedules and worksflow to meet delivery deadlines. Manage production workers, allocate tasks, and monitor producitvity and workmanship. Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and subcontractors to smooth execution of projects till job handover. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality and house keeping standards. Monitor production performance and drive continuos improvement in productivity, effiicency, and cost control. Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural steel, sheet metal or metal fabrication/ manufacturing. * Proven experience in material calculation, production planning, workflow organization, and managing production teams. * Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform accurate material take-offs. * Experience managing factory operations and meeting production schedules. * Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Strong knowledge of workplace safety and quality control practices.
