Part-Time Chinese Tutor (Primary)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Chinese Tutor to help students develop strong Chinese language skills and build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, can create engaging lessons, and is committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Chinese lessons for primary school students. Teach Chinese language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, and grammar. Prepare students for school assessments and examinations. Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to individual learning needs. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and students. Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a positive, encouraging, and interactive learning environment. Assign and review homework, practice exercises, and revision materials. Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson progress, and student performance. Requirements Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin). Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Chinese Language, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience teaching or tutoring primary school students is an advantage. Familiarity with the local primary school Chinese syllabus and examination formats. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate young learners. Good classroom management and organizational skills. Experience preparing students for school examinations and higher Chinese programmes. Ability to conduct small group classes (5-8 pax). Experience using digital teaching tools and online learning platforms. Working Hours Each class is 1.5 hours weekly Part-time position
