What You’ll Be Doing As a English Tutor, you will: · Conduct engaging Primary English lessons using our structured curriculum and teaching framework · Guide students through grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and exam strategies in a clear and encouraging manner · Monitor student progress through class participation, homework, assessments, and observations · Provide regular verbal and written feedback to parents on student learning and progress · Mark assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students · Support curriculum refinement and contribute ideas to improve lesson quality and student outcomes · Attend team meetings and teacher development sessions · Provide make-up lessons or class coverage when required · Carry out basic administrative responsibilities related to classes and student progress Who We’re Looking For ✅ Enjoy teaching Primary English ✅ Are patient, energetic, and confident working with children ✅ Have strong mastery of the Singapore Primary English syllabus ✅ Can explain concepts clearly and adapt to different student abilities ✅ Are structured, dependable, and a strong team player ✅ Care about helping students build confidence — not just grades Preferred qualifications: · Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Primary English · Familiarity with the Singapore MOE English syllabus and PSLE expectations · Diploma or Degree holders preferred (but strong teaching ability matters most) Work Schedule & Expectations Full-Time Position · 5-day work week (including weekends) Teaching Workload · Up to 11 classes per week · Small class size of max 6 students · Lesson preparation, marking, parent communication, and team collaboration expected as part of the role What We Offer 💰 Competitive salary package (based on experience and teaching load + CPF contributions + 13th month and special bonuses ) 🎓 Regular pedagogical and curriculum training 📈 Career progression opportunities for strong performers 🤝 Supportive, collaborative teaching environment 📚 Structured teaching materials and lesson resources provided 🌱 Meaningful opportunity to shape student confidence and academic growth Locations 📍 Bishan 📍 Bukit Timah 📍 Marine Parade 📍 Tiong Bahru Apply Now If you’re passionate about helping children succeed in English and want to grow with a team that values excellent teaching, we’d love to hear from you.
