About this role

You will lead the Army's media production team in creating compelling content for both public and internal communications. You will oversee the full production cycle — from ideation to post-production — while developing your team's capabilities and managing stakeholder relationships to deliver high-quality media collaterals. - Propose creative content ideas in line with current trends to effectively communicate intended messages across the Army's internal and external media platforms - Lead the end-to-end media production process, covering ideation, pre-production logistics, on-ground production, and post-production editing of footage and photographs - Direct and guide the media production team on technical skills during shoots, ensuring all required angles and content are captured - Review and provide constructive creative and technical feedback on content developed by the media production team - Manage production timelines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of media collaterals Challenge(s) - Generating creative and engaging content that effectively reaches the target audience while navigating information security and operational security restrictions - Responding swiftly to operational requirements, including being part of a standby force to support media operations at short notice - Training and working with a workforce of varied skillsets, including Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) who are learning on the job, to consistently deliver high-quality content - Education in Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, Visual Communications, or a related field - Relevant working experience in communications, filmmaking, content production, or a related field is preferred - Proficiency in photography and videography, including technical knowledge of equipment and on-ground production - Proficiency in post-production and graphic design software, in particular the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) - Knowledge of content strategy and the ability to develop content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms - Strong creative and critical thinking skills, with the ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas effectively - Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams - Resourceful, adaptable, and able to multi-task and perform under pressure - Submission of a relevant portfolio of work samples is encouraged (Candidates with no experience may apply.)
