Assistant Manager / Manager, Transformation and Systems, FMMD

The Assistant Manager/Manager (Transformation and Systems) will be part of the team that will facilitate the transformation of an enforcement division to be at the forefront of enforcement work. This is an important role that will look into research, user interviews and discussions, conceptualisation of ideas, project management as well as data analytics to ensure the success of transformation initiatives that will contribute to achieving strategic business goals and operational objectives. At the same time, the role requires the officer to manage ops system projects and service requests (SRs) enhancement to address operational problems and meet operational needs. • Have the technical know-how to implement projects using tools like Robotic Process Automation, data analytics programming such as python or R and can lead projects to improve work processes • Conduct strategic engagement with internal stakeholders to facilitate discussions and identify problems/ areas where processes could be enhanced with use of technology or data analytics • Identify opportunities for performance improvements and conduct research into good practice and new ideas • Establish contacts with other public agencies/ GovTech/ solution providers, e.g. institution of higher learning, research community and industry and collaborate with leading industry experts on possible digitalization/ technical solutions • Conceptualise and design plans for approval on idea as well as to seek budget funding with MOM senior management • Manages proof-of-concepts and pilots, leading to deployment of solution and scaling the solutions to whole of department, if applicable • Prioritise and manage the execution of Service Requests (SRs) and maximise the value produced by the team • Recommend/support review users needs and propose resolutions to address operational problems • Engage internal and external stake-holders for expeditious buy-in and approval (for example, data linkage, batch request), verification, information, etc • Fresh graduates/1 to 2 years of experience or knowledge of technical skills such as programming, RPA and data analytics may apply • Experience/knowledge in stakeholder engagement and project management • Some knowledge of emerging technologies, e.g. IoT, robotics will be an advantage • Can translate high-level strategy into executable plans • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and Strong time management skills, including the ability to adapt, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet tight timelines. • Good written and oral communication skills • Good interpersonal skills and strong Team Player
