Barber Assistant – Luxury Private Barber Shop About the Role This shop is an exclusive appointment-only luxury barber shop located in Raffles Place. Established by two Directors with 14+ years of combined barbering and salon management experience in Singapore and Japan, the shop opened in May 2026 and is now expanding its team. We are looking for dedicated members to deliver even higher quality service through shampoos, shoulder massages, and treatment services. Daily Responsibilities Customer Service Welcome customers with a bright, warm, and sincere smile. Provide ultimate relaxation experiences through treatments such as shampoos, neck and shoulder massages, facials, and grooming services. Shop Support Keep the treatment space clean, beautiful, and organized at all times. Prepare and manage necessary tools to maintain an ideal salon environment. Dedicatedly support working staff to ensure they perform at their best. Experienced candidates are also very welcome. Salary & Commission Structure Basic Salary SGD 3,000 / month Commission (Points System) Percentages based on monthly earned points are added to your basic salary: 3,000 pts or more: 1% of earned points 5,000 pts or more: 2% of earned points 7,500 pts or more: 6% of earned points 10,000 pts or more: 8% of earned points Skill Acquisition Milestones (Estimates only; individual progress varies) & Allowances Shampoo & Shoulder Massage: Priority at start (Achieve 5,000–6,000 pts/month in roughly 2–3 months) All Menus Mastered: Achieve 10,000+ pts/month in roughly 5–6 months Perfect Attendance & Punctuality: SGD 100 / month Working All Weekends & Public Holidays: SGD 200 / month Monthly Sales Target Achieved: Additional SGD 200 (Note: Targets are set high to be challenging and rewarding, making achievement difficult, but designed as an exciting challenge.) Shaving Skill Allowance: +SGD 200 added to basic salary upon reaching a set standard evaluated by the Director. Monthly Income Simulation (Including Allowances) Achieving 6,000 Points per Month Breakdown: Basic Salary (3,000) + Commission (120: 2% of 6,000 pts) + Allowances (300) Total Monthly Income: SGD 3,420 With All Allowances Added (Target Achievement + Shaving Skill): SGD 3,820 Achieving 10,000 Points per Month Breakdown: Basic Salary (3,000) + Commission (800: 8% of 10,000 pts) + Allowances (300) Total Monthly Income: SGD 4,100 With All Allowances Added (Target Achievement + Shaving Skill): SGD 4,500 Career Path: The Road to Stylist After mastering all menus, further skill and salary upgrades are available based on individual goals and passion. Becoming a Stylist is completely optional. Growing as a Stylist Because services like haircuts, coloring, and perms carry higher point values, stylists can achieve over 15,000 points per month (estimates only; acquisition and proficiency vary by individual). Commission rates increase based on performance and client requests. Supporting Your Goals Becoming a successful Stylist in our shop requires independence, passion, and practice volume, so individual results vary. We listen to your goals and support you accordingly. Benefits & Working Conditions Benefits (for staff with 3+ months of service): Medical insurance, dental insurance Working Hours: 7.5 hours per day + 1-hour break Day Off: Wednesdays Monthly Off Days: 8 days (Schedule-based) Note: Since weekends and public holidays tend to be busier with customer visits, candidates who are available to work those days are preferred.
