The Contracts Unit manages the procurement and contract administration of public healthcare infrastructure projects on behalf of MOH, in strict adherence to Government Procurement rules. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to support the evaluation and assessment of variation works for healthcare development projects implemented by MOH Holdings on behalf of the Ministry of Health. The appointee will work closely with Project Teams to review submissions in post-construction stage and ensure compliance with Instruction Manual (IM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and assess variation works. Check and verify quantities of variation works. Review supporting documents of variation works such as quotations, drawings and records. Assess star rates of variation works to ensure that it is in accordance with MOHH SOP and IM. Check Consultants’ assessment of Loss & Expense payments to ensure compliance with PSSCOC and MOHH SOP. Ensure all variations and adjustments are properly incorporated into the Final Account in compliance with PSSCOC and MOHH SOP. Prepare weekly progress update of the checking of the variation works. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Requirements: Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Engineering / Project Management Key Qualities: Familiar with Government Procurement and possess good experience and knowledge of the PSSCOC Meticulousness, critical thinking, good writing, communication and presentation skills are essential. Years of Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying/cost management/procurement/audit in the construction industry
