Job Summary Perform underwater operations including inspection, cleaning, and polishing of vessels and barges, ensuring diving equipment compliance and safety under supervision. Support diving boat operations and assist in training new divers. Responsibilities Perform underwater inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and blanking on vessels and barges as directed by the Diving Supervisor Operate BRUSHKART, CCTV, and underwater digital cameras to support underwater tasks Maintain diving equipment by conducting regular checks and reporting defects or malfunctions to the Operations Department Assist with diving boat operations including mooring to vessels and routine cleaning to ensure safe and efficient boat handling Report any recent medical treatments or symptoms of decompression sickness (DCS) immediately to the Diving Supervisor Verify that diving equipment is adequate and in good operating condition before use Analyze equipment records and reports to confirm compliance with Company policies and IMCA/SS511 standards Ensure diving activities comply with SS511, Company codes, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards Serve as standby diver when instructed and assist in training new tenders and divers to maintain team readiness Required competencies and certifications Valid Commercial Diving qualification recognized by WSHC and Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) (CDAS) Valid diving/occupational first aid certificate Valid approved medical certificates and diving qualifications kept up to date Physical fitness to perform demanding underwater operations Preferred competencies and qualifications Positive mindset with the ability to multitask effectively Strong teamwork skills and a hardworking attitude Other Information Report to: Diving Supervisor / Dive Technician Salary: Depending on experience
