Accountant

Job Scope – Accountant -Handle a full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. -Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting. -Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents. -Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and the company secretary. -Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. -Monitor and account for the company’s investment portfolio, including shares and other financial instruments. -Track investment income, dividends, capital gains or losses, and portfolio valuations. -Provide financial oversight and control over the holding company’s subsidiaries companies. -Review and monitor the subsidiaries companies’ financial performance, budgets, cash flow, internal controls, and reporting. -Assist management with financial and investment-related reports. -Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned. -Travel frequently for business-related matters when required. Experience in stock market investments and proficiency in Xero accounting software will be an advantage, as the company is principally engaged in investment holding activities.
