Associate/Assistant Director, Procurement (2-Year Contract) In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, with responsibilities including: Support and advise stakeholders on procurement approaches and requirements, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing outcomes (e.g., quotations/tenders and clarifications) Review work processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., templates, trackers and standard operating procedures) Coordinate procurement documentation and records to ensure completeness and proper record-keeping (e.g., approval records and supporting procurement documentation Support procurement processes from sourcing to award, including coordinating evaluations, internal clearances and submission write-ups Support other team initiatives where required (e.g., policy/process reviews, knowledge management and business continuity activities) A service-oriented, meticulous and resourceful individual Good analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders and suppliers Able to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines, and maintain proper documentation and records Comfortable working with data, trackers and basic analysis to support reporting and process improvement Relevant experience in procurement is preferred, but candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome Relevant experience in areas such as government procurement, process management or data management and analysis, will be an advantage; candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome Candidates may be considered either a permanent or contract opportunity, depending on their relevant experience.
