Site Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site. Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and documentation. Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction. Monitor material usage and site resources to minimize wastage. Ensure all works comply with local regulations, company policies, and client requirements. Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with stakeholders. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control. Review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures. Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant construction site experience. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices. Familiarity with local building regulations and safety requirements. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
