JOB DESCRIPTION: Department: Business & Strategic Planning Department Reports to: Assistant Manager, Business & Strategic Planning Department Functional relationship: All divisions in MES All OSA Sales Planning & Operation Division, especially Global sales planning Strategic/Sales planning organizations POSITION PROFILE: This position is responsible for driving MES RMC policy PDCA circulation, thus, we monitor and take care if all functions & organizations under MES RMC work/manage well healthy toward RMC goal. Additionally, the trainee will support business strategic planning activity, budget and sales analysis, quarterly policy review, and regional coordination activities across ASEAN & India region. The role requires skills in proactive manner for example: issue formulating skill, strategy development skill, communication skills, execution skill, and collaboration with MES RMC, other RMC, and headquarters stakeholders to support company-wide initiatives and sales and marketing function. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of projects by collaborating with Japan headquarters and regional affiliates. To promote smooth collaboration among cross-functional teams and support execution of corporate initiatives. To assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data, then, create business insight for management decision-making. To prepare progress reports and management presentation materials related to strategic initiatives and policy execution. To support planning and operation of quarterly policy review meetings and execution management events. To initiate countermeasures with Japan headquarters or other group companies to solve problems in own division. To coordinate communication and information sharing among ASEAN & India regional entities, Japan headquarters, and other group companies. To conduct analysis of actual business results versus budget targets, including sales and opportunity analysis. Ability/Competency required: Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry. Strong analytical thinking and problem framing skills with the ability to understand business issues from multiple perspectives. Global mindset and cross-cultural understanding developed through international and professional experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders across regions and functions. Ability to coordinate and support strategic planning and policy deployment activities in a multicultural environment. Strong presentation, reporting, and facilitation skills for management discussions and regional meetings. Proactive attitude with high learning agility and willingness to contribute new ideas and perspectives. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
