Mechatronics Engineer (Tuas)

Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Rationalization Report to: DX Engineering team Functional Relationships with: Production, Engineering, IT POSITION PROFILE: Based in: Singapore Job site: Tuas The successful candidate will be: In-charge and support in developing creative/innovation solution or improvement activities (DX, AI, Automation) for the Production/Equipment. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Equipment Program Development (PLC Ladder) PC Based Software/Internal Web Based Software Development (Python) Maintain and improve on existing program/software developed Equipment Integration / Debugging / Trouble Shooting Support or in-charge for factory automation process, DX & improvement activities. Ensure activity compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and maintain process ISO system. ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED: Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control Engineering / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering At least 3 years of relevant experience Well verse with PLC Programming& High-level Language programming (Python) Basic Knowledge in SQL, Pandas, Numpy Basic Knowledge in OpenCV, Machine Learning and Deep Learning (CNN, YOLO) Good in Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving Positive thinking and eager to learn new technologies Experience with Vision System & Lighting
