Assistant Manager, Procurement (AISG)

The Assistant Manager for Procurement ensures all purchasing activities are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with university policies, managing end-to-end procurement across various spend categories for partner departments. Key duties involve leading sourcing activities, reviewing and improving processes, managing supplier relationships, and conducting spend analysis to identify savings opportunities. Candidates must possess 4 to 7 years of relevant procurement experience covering direct and/or indirect procurement, along with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes like sourcing, tendering, and contract management. Essential qualifications include good knowledge of governance/compliance, strong analytical skills for spend analysis, and excellent communication abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
