Join Our Team at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance. PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics. Over the years, SPMS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers. The Project Officer will work closely with the Principal Investigator to support research activities of the Principal Investigator. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day execution of research projects, including literature reviews, data collection and analysis, preparation of research materials, and dissemination of research outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Principal Investigator in conducting research projects. Conduct literature reviews and summarise relevant research findings. Assist with the development of research instruments and teaching materials. Collect, organise, and analyse research data. Prepare figures, tables, reports, and presentations. Assist in drafting manuscripts for publication and conference presentations. Coordinate project meetings and maintain research documentation. Perform other research-related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline. Excellent written and communication skills. Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment. Experience with data analysis or statistical software is desirable. Experience with academic writing or research projects is advantageous.
