Research Assistant (Nie-Crpp)

The National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University invites suitable applications for the position of Research Assistant on a 6-month contract (renewable) at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy & Practice. The research project intends to examine the effect of data literacy professional development on teachers’ outcomes, namely knowledge and beliefs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related disciplines Good theoretical knowledge of research designs in general Preferably with working experience in research project and familiar with research methods Experience with conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines Proactive and able to work independently Being a good team player A self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed Responsibilities Conduct participant recruitment and collect data Conduct literature scans to support research and perform research analysis Manage project-related administrative work Write/prepare research reports, publications and presentation materials independently Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions Other research and project management tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI) Application Applicants (external and internal) will apply via Workday.
