About this role

A Project Officer will be hired to conduct research related to the proposal that is funding this position. This is to ensure that the deliverables and KPIs are fulfilled as described in the proposal. Key Responsibilities: To perform experiments. To operate instruments. To gather data and analyze data. To prepare weekly reports. To perform power point presentations. Job Requirements: Have a Bachelor of Science Honors (Distinction) degree in Chemistry. Involve in a project on the application of photochemistry. He/She is expected to have prior experience in the use of chemical instruments including high-performance (HPLC), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and optical spectroscopic techniques including time-resolved spectroscopy. Prior experience in laboratory housekeeping and must have knowledge in laboratory safety practices. Candidate must have at least 2 – 4 years of research experience in a chemical laboratory. Prior knowledge on writing reports and giving presentations. Demonstrate a high degree of research competence and have preferably published at least 2 papers in good, peer-review scientific journals.
