About this role

What the role is You will be part of a projectteam working closely with the appointed consultant and stakeholders on thedevelopment of the Integrated Waste Management Facility Phase 2 (IP2) –a large-scale waste management infrastructural project. What you will be working on Your main responsibilities are as follows: Review and evaluate technical design submissions for mechanical equipment and process systems such as waste handling cranes, incinerators, boilers, steam turbine-generators, flue gas treatments, and ash handling. Work closely with the consultant, relevant agencies, and authorities to oversee the construction and commissioning of IWMF Phase 2 project Prepare tender documents, call and evaluate tender proposals Verify progress claims from contractors. Lead a technical team to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities when IWMF Phase 2 is in operational stage What we are looking for Degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 2 years of relevant experience in waste-to-energy facilities preferred. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical or process design working in other relevant fields and/or projects (i.e., Waste, Water, Oil & Gas, Power) will also be considered. Responsible, committed, resourceful, and a good team player Good interpersonal communication, presentation and writing skills Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays, if required, when IWMF Phase 2 is in the commissioning and operational stage Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be requiredto complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
