Job Description The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant in the lab of Assistant Prof. Vincenzo Sorrentino , part of the Department of Biochemistry and of the Healthy Longevity Translational Research Programme , Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Dept. of Biochemistry and the Healthy Longevity TRP, with their vanguard integrative research programs, and state-of-the-art facilities to promote basic, clinical and transformative research, aim at leading the field of prevention, early detection and precise management of diseases at every stage of life. By bridging preclinical and clinical research, a major focus of our research is to develop interventions to delay ageing and chronic disease onset, to improve life quality. Appointments will be on a 1-year contract in the first instance, with the possibility of extension. Purpose of the post The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, Assistant Prof. Vincenzo Sorrentino to provide support in research projects, lab management and procurement, operations and safety in Dr. Sorrentino’s laboratories. The RA is expected to facilitate team members’ onboarding and provide experimental support to the team.
