Job Description The successful candidate will work with Prof Christoph Winkler and Dr Matan Golan under a multidisciplinary research program funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and administered by the Singapore-HUJ Alliance for Research and Enterprise (SHARE). The main responsibilities of the position include: Conduct research and provide technical expertise in fish neuroendocrinology, developmental biology and genetic engineering. Analyse research findings and disseminate data. Achieving project KPIs, guiding researchers through training, and publishing research articles in alignment with the grant objectives. Coordinate with external collaborators on project development. Document, collate, analyse and interpret data. Carry out procurement, including liaising with vendors, sourcing for materials, equipment and testing, and raising purchase requests. Document and track project issues, expenses and budget tracking. Mentor students involved in final year projects, internships, short-term work attachments, and similar programmes. Plan experiments and prepare progress reports for regular project updates. Perform any other related duties assigned by the project leader and co-project leaders. Qualifications PhD in Fish Developmental Biology, Neuroendocrinology, Aquaculture-related Endocrinology or Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Genomics. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels. Possess sound planning, organising, good multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time. Proficient in IT skills. Good documentation skills, laboratory techniques, and research and data analysis skills. Experience: Relevant experience as demonstrated by scientific publications in the areas of expertise.
