Job Description A postdoctoral fellow position is available in A/P Zhang Yongliang’s laboratory at the Immunology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The successful candidate will work on a project investigating the molecular mechanisms of inflammation and inflammatory diseases, with a particular emphasis on immune signalling, inflammasome activation, and host–pathogen interactions. Applicants should have a strong publication record, including more than two first-author research articles, with at least one published in a journal with an impact factor above 5. The candidate is expected to work independently, contribute to mechanistic studies of inflammatory signalling, and actively participate in manuscript preparation and grant-related activities. Prior experience with bacterial or viral infection models, blood–tissue barrier inflammation, and host innate immune evasion mechanisms will be considered a strong advantage This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a highly interactive and translational research environment, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and strong collaborative networks. The postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to further develop an independent research profile in inflammation and immunology, supporting future academic or translational career progression. Qualifications The candidate should have a strong background in immunology, inflammation, or infectious disease research, with demonstrated expertise in studying innate immune pathways, including NLRP3 inflammasome signalling, protein post-translational modifications (such as phosphorylation, ubiquitination, and acetylation), and pathogen-induced inflammatory responses.
