Role: Material Controller We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Material Controller to join the IWMF Project team at Tuas Nexus. This full-time contract role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of all project materials, contributing directly to the smooth execution and timely completion of this complex undertaking. Location: Tuas Nexus, Singapore Contract Type: 1-year full-time contract Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all aspects of material flow, from procurement to delivery and storage, for the IWMF project. Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to track material quantities, locations, and movements accurately. Perform regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies. Liaise with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure timely material availability and resolve any supply chain issues. Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including material requisitions, goods receipt notes, and inventory reports. Utilize SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing) extensively for all material management processes, including data entry, reporting, and transaction processing. Identify and report potential material shortages, surpluses, or damages to relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper material handling and storage practices are followed to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration. Contribute to the continuous improvement of material management processes and procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in material control, inventory management, or logistics, preferably within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. **Mandatory proficiency in SAP (Materials Management module) is essential.** Strong understanding of supply chain principles and inventory best practices. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse teams and external vendors. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related technical field is preferred. A proactive attitude and a commitment to safety and quality.
