NCS is looking for an AI Security Lead to support the secure adoption, development and delivery of AI and AI-enabled solutions across the organisation. The role will be responsible for implementing enterprise AI security standards, policies and guardrails across product and delivery teams. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of AI-security offerings for clients, working closely with AI Central, ACE, Digital Resilience, product, engineering and delivery stakeholders. This role is suitable for a cybersecurity professional with strong understanding of AI security, secure software delivery, cloud security, governance controls and emerging risks relating to generative AI, machine learning and AI-enabled products. Roles and Responsibilities AI Security Governance Implement AI security standards, guardrails, policies and operating controls across relevant product and delivery teams. Support ACE, Digital Resilience and internal stakeholders in operationalising security requirements for AI and AI-enabled products. Maintain AI security control processes, documentation, reporting and monitoring mechanisms to identify security gaps, compliance issues and emerging risks. Provide guidance to teams on secure AI adoption, including areas such as model usage, data protection, access control, threat modelling, secure deployment and responsible AI practices. Work with governance, risk, compliance, architecture, engineering and delivery teams to ensure AI security requirements are applied consistently. AI-Security Product Development Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for AI-security offerings for clients. Translate AI security requirements into practical product features, technical specifications and implementation guidance. Support solution design and development by providing security requirements, threat-modelling inputs, risk considerations and acceptance criteria. Work with engineering and delivery teams to ensure AI-security features are implemented according to agreed specifications. Support the integration of AI-security capabilities into client engagements, solution proposals and delivery frameworks. Monitor developments in AI security, generative AI risks, model security, data leakage, adversarial threats and AI governance to support continuous improvement of offerings. Stakeholder Engagement and Delivery Support Provide subject-matter expertise and day-to-day leadership on AI security within AI Central. Develop playbooks, templates, checklists and training materials to enable consistent adoption of AI security practices. Represent AI security in internal forums and selected client discussions under the guidance of senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance security requirements with business objectives, delivery timelines and client needs. Support awareness-building and capability uplift across teams involved in AI product development and AI-enabled solution delivery. Requirements Relevant experience in AI Security, cybersecurity, product security, application security, cloud security, AI security, technology risk or security architecture. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure software development, threat modelling, vulnerability management and security controls. Good working knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, AI-enabled applications and related security risks. Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance, security standards, control implementation or security reporting in an enterprise environment. Ability to translate security requirements into practical guidance for product, engineering and delivery teams. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, product, governance, delivery and client-facing teams. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical security matters clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes in a complex enterprise environment. Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Preferred Skills Experience with AI security frameworks, responsible AI practices, model risk management or AI governance.
