We are looking for a Decision Support Manager who is responsible to/for: Support strategic business planning to drive sustainable and profitable growth for the Petcare business across 10 markets within AOA, encompassing multiple operating companies, manufacturing units, and business models. Guide business unit controllers on regional strategic direction and key focus areas to collectively achieve regional business objectives. Oversee all Decision Support and Control activities for the Purina AOA Region, including the distribution and presentation of management reporting and analysis to the MANCOM, driving gap-closing actions to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets. Ensure rock-solid monthly and yearly Period End Close in alignment with group deadlines, delivering 100% First Time Quality (FTQ). Act as co-pilot to the Regional Head of Ensuring Supply, supporting all financial matters on a day-to-day basis and from a long-term strategic perspective, including providing cost visibility related to operation processes and manufacturing blueprint planning. Act as co-pilot to the Regional Head of Marketing, offering financial insights to drive optimal commercial decisions, such as evaluating I&R project financial feasibility and prioritizing capital and commercial investments. Ensure GD and ES operations adhere to financial and legal requirements and Nestlé Accounting Standards. A day in the life of a Decision Support Manager.. Drive the monthly P&L review with business unit controllers to analyze previous month's variance, establish key priorities for achieving current month results, and set expectations for DF preparation. Deliver financial updates (previous month performance, current month/quarter focus areas, must-win battles, and full-year outlook) that transform into actionable insights during the monthly management presentation with the MANCOM. Facilitate the monthly DF call with each market, aiding the regional MANCOM (CEO, CFO, Head of GD, Head of ES) in anticipating the full-year market outlook. This drives discussions on business priority alignment, leading to goal congruence between market and region, and results in a solid P&L forecast. Drive rock-solid monthly and year-end period closing & reporting, ensuring alignment and accuracy of all business unit controlling teams on management accounting procedures and timelines. Provide regular updates, such as Management Letters, Landing Estimates, and DF magnitude submissions, to the zone finance team (Z-AOA F&C) in a timely, accurate, and relevant manner. Drive Enterprise Risk Management process, ensuring mitigating controls are in place to keep the risks at manageable levels. Guide and support the business unit controllers by proactively sharing relevant insights, such as cross-market best practices and performance overviews at both the regional (NPP AOA) and zone (Z-AOA) levels, which drives goal congruence and enables results through others. Drive the CAPEX financial justification to support the development of the regional manufacturing strategy, control and work closely with project team and factory controllers on execution of the capital investment plan. Provide full transparency on the financial impact driven by the strategic operations decisions (sustainability, I&R, repatriation etc) to the regional operation ladership team by performining the required financial simulation. Collaborate closely with both regional and NiM operations teams to seek cost optimization initiatives across the value chain (procurement, factory, distribution); review and validate the identified savings. Actively participate in the review of monthly total delivered cost (TDC) and annual costing estimate (ACE), constructively challenging the assumption of the budget/LE outlook to ensure operation cost are in check.
