Senior Youth Worker / Youth Worker New Life Youth caters to people between 11 – 21 years of age. Our mission is to mentor youths by creating a positive impact on their lives, developing their resilience through nurturing mentorships and empowering them to initiate change within their communities. We are looking for a passionate and committed Senior Youth Worker / Youth Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging, supporting, and empowering youths to reach their full potential through meaningful programmes and positive relationships. Roles and Responsibilities: Plan, organise, and implement programmes and activities that promote the holistic development and well-being of youths. Provide supervision, guidance, and support to a team of youth workers (for Senior Youth Worker role). Build and maintain positive relationships with youth, serving as a mentor and positive role model. Provide individual support and guidance to youths, helping them overcome challenges and work towards their personal goals. Facilitate group discussions and workshops, and activities on topics such as, health, education, life skills, and social development. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, social workers, and community partners, to meet the needs of youths. Maintain accurate and confidential case records, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures. Engage with the community to understand and respond to the needs and interests of local youth. Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all participants Stay updated on current issues, trends, and developments affecting young people. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Youth Work. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience working with youths (Senior role). Proficient in English and Mother Tongue Previous experience working with young people in a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate youths from diverse backgrounds. Good understanding of the issues and challenges faced by young people today. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Work Location: Woodlands Drive 16
