Factory Production Manager

Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to ensure production schedules are met. Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality to achieve operational targets. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize production costs. Lead, supervise, and motivate production supervisors and factory workers. Coordinate with the Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Sales departments to ensure smooth production operations. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate material planning to avoid production delays. Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Prepare production reports, manpower planning, KPI reports, and operational performance analysis for Management. Manage equipment maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency. Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Participate in budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and manpower planning. Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant production or manufacturing management experience, preferably in a factory environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Good knowledge of production planning, quality management, inventory control, and manufacturing processes. Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and good manufacturing practices. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems will be an advantage. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
