About this role

The Therapy Assistant implements therapeutic interventions, behavioral observations, and communication strategies for patients in the Adult NeuroDevelopmental Service. They are responsible for maintaining patients' functional skills in daily living and collaborating with allied health professionals on ward and community programs. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Health Sciences or related fields, or a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Paramedic, Community Care, or Nursing with at least 2 years of experience. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
