Chemical Process Technician

Responsibilities: Operate and monitor chemical processes and equipment as instructed, ensuring safe & secure and efficient operations. Carry out routine checks and scheduled cleaning procedures. Material handling and sampling for QC analysis. Work according to material segregation requirements and apply appropriate labelling and identification. Collect and record data according to production instructions, checklists or logs. Comply with rules and procedures regarding Health & Safety, Production / Process operation, Quality Assurance, record- and housekeeping. Report material and process abnormalities and / or need for equipment maintenance. Work as a Team member, support colleagues as and when required. Assist in troubleshooting, problem resolution and commissioning as required. Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager. Requirements: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent. 1 – 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or related industries. Good understanding of Safe Working Practices and Good Documentation Practice
