Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and driven Human Resources (HR) and Administration (Admin) Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR and administration functions at NorthLight School. Reporting to Vice-Principal, Administration, you will develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the school’s objectives and priorities, oversee day-to-day HR and admin operations, drive HR digitalisation initiatives and projects, compliance, data accuracy and employee experience. You will ensure that all practices are aligned with employment legislation, education sector requirements, audit expectations, and school policies. Responsibilities Human Resources Partner with school leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with school objectives and operational priorities. Translate organizational goals into actionable HR plans to support workforce effectiveness. Monitor education sector and broader HR trends to recommend improvements to policies, frameworks, and processes. Lead full HR functions including employee lifecycle management, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, payroll, HR systems, data management, digitalisation, performance management, and learning and development. Ensure HR compliance with the Employment Act, MOM regulations, education sector requirements, and school policies to maintain audit readiness. Drive HR digitalisation initiatives and projects to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, compliance, and employee experience. Provide informed HR advisory and support to school leaders and heads of departments on people-related matters. Prepare HR reports, analytics, and insights to inform management decisions and reporting requirements. Administration Oversee front-office and back-office administration units to ensure smooth daily operations aligned with school policies. Review and enhance administrative processes and workflows to improve operational effectiveness. Manage administrative contracts in compliance with school’s procurement and funding requirements. Governance, Audit, and Budget Management Own the annual budget planning and forecasting for HR and administration functions, ensuring prudent resource management aligned with school priorities. Organize and facilitate annual audit and risk committee meetings, including preparation of documentation and stakeholder coordination. Support governance and compliance frameworks to ensure HR and administrative practices meet regulatory, audit, and funding standards. Personal Competencies, Experiences and Qualifications Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years managing HR and administrative functions. Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, MOM regulations, and HR best practices. Experience in regulated, funded, or public sector environments. Demonstrated experience in HR digitalisation, HRIS management, or process improvement projects. Knowledge of Times Software HR system is a plus. Proven people management skills to lead, develop, and motivate teams. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to advise school leaders effectively. Analytical and data-driven approach to translate HR data into actionable insights and reports. Organized and resourceful in managing multiple priorities. Why Join Us?
