BIM Modeler

Job Overview Raffles Place Tagore Lane Jurong East We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to execute detailed drawing and modeling work using Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design and construction workflow, ensuring models are accurate, updated, and seamlessly integrated across disciplines. Reporting directly to the Project Engineer/Manager, you will collaborate with architects and consultants to deliver high-quality shop drawings and resolve spatial conflicts prior to construction. Key Responsibilities BIM Modeling & Drawing Production: Utilize BIM software to generate and update architectural, structural, and MEP shop drawings based on details provided by engineers and managers. Clash Detection & Resolution: Monitor and audit models using Navisworks to perform clash detection, identify discrepancies, and resolve structural/MEP integration conflicts. Revision Management: Promptly incorporate design modifications and deliver revised shop drawings within a one-week turnaround upon receiving commented drawings. Schedule & Project Tracking: Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedules, ensuring all deliverables stay aligned with project timelines; proactively escalate scope changes to the Project Manager. Stakeholder Liaison: Partner closely with architects and cross-functional design teams to capture exact finishing details and maintain structural alignment. Job Requirements Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a BIM-related construction or design role. Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit (Architecture & MEP) and Navisworks for checking and clash detection. Familiarity with ArchiCAD or Bentley AECOsim is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems, along with their practical integration and construction workflows. Turnaround & Precision: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage strict deadlines and deliver fast, accurate revisions in a fast-paced project environment. Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively coordinate with diverse design and construction professionals.
