Care Associate (Part-Time), Senior Day Care

Job Description As a Care Associate, you will be part of an integrated care team that delivers a person-centered care model for our seniors, including persons with dementia. We aim to promote seniors' independence and maintain their cognitive and physical functions, through targeted programmes and personalised care plans, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives. You will need to: Perform activities for daily living (ADLs), including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, toileting, diaper changing, and feeding Monitor seniors' medical and health conditions Facilitate small group activities and exercises catered to the seniors' interests Engage seniors, including those with dementia, in meaningful and stimulating activities that promote mental and emotional well-being Perform general housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the centres Escort and assist seniors during transportation to and from the care centre ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey Job Description (Continued) Qualification You should: Possess a Certificate in Healthcare or a related course Minimum WPLN Level 4 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, and Level 3 in Writing Have the ability to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment Be empathetic and form positive relationships with seniors and caregivers Have strong communication and problem-solving skills Be proficient in Google Suite Applications Other Information It would be great if you: Have experience in social services or the healthcare industry Demonstrate facilitation skills and healthcare knowledge
