Role : Project Coordinator (Electrical) Location : Singapore Experience : M inimum 8 years in infrastructure or building development as an Engineer Rep / Project Coordinator in construction contract administration of which preferably 5 years in electrical works The Project Coordinator (Electrical) is responsible for overseeing critical infrastructure works within major airport development projects. This role is central to the successful delivery of complex M&E engineering packages, ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory standards, and project milestones. The individual will manage all aspects of construction contract administration, including safety, design coordination, technical documentation, scheduling, budget adherence, and stakeholder engagement. A strategic understanding of airport infrastructure, and regulatory compliance (eg. ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001) is essential. Familiarity with airport construction processes and experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams is highly desirable. Key responsibilities : Support the Superintending Officer Representative (SOR) and Superintending Officer (SO) in contract administration for large-scale infrastructure projects, including airfield works. Assist in design coordination with consultants and contractors, and contribute to the construction and handover process. Review contractors’ proposals and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory and authority requirements during tender, submission, and construction phases. Participate in project management activities such as progress, schedule, budgeting, claims, coordination, and supervision of infrastructure works. Ensure engineering work adheres to statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice. Liaise and communicate with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to facilitate project progress. Your work will encompass authoring non-standard letters, reports and other project related correspondence. Support the firm's compliance in maintaining ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO I 4001 requirements Working without continual direct support, seeking guidance when necessary, this role is responsible for meeting deadlines, and may be required to monitor budgets and control expenditure to meet financial targets in its own area Qualifications & Experience Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the client; Minimum 8 years in infrastructure or building development as an Engineer Rep / Project Coordinator in construction contract administration of which preferably 5 years in electrical works; Completed at least a project as a SORA or equivalent using PSSCOC or equivalent form of contract Conversant with statutory code, PSSCOC, contract administration, progress reporting and requirements for site supervision and quality control procedures Familiarity with statutory codes, contract administration (claims, EOT), progress reporting, site management, supervision, project execution plans, and quality control procedures. Strong communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
