Hair Assistant/ Hair Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, prepping hair for treatments, and applying products. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and the salon area. Welcome clients and ensure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. Prepare workstations and stock up supplies ahead of appointments. Learn and support coloring, toning, and other techniques under supervision. Support team with laundry, towel management, and general salon upkeep. . QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly, eager to learn, and passionate about hair, fashion, and aesthetics. A recent hair school graduate or someone considering a career in hairstyling. Excellent hygiene, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. Able to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. . KEY DELIVERABLES: Demonstrate visible progress in foundational hair skills month by month. Ensure clients are welcomed, seated, and comfortable Ensure all tools are sterilized and stored correctly after each use. Provide accurate and timely prep work for stylists (e.g. mixing color, sectioning hair, blow-drying under supervision). Stay alert to stylists' needs and proactively assist to minimize downtime. Follow all health and safety protocols related to chemical services and sanitation. .
