Senior Cook

Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to company recipes and quality standards. Plan and organize daily food preparation activities to ensure timely meal production. Supervise and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking processes. Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before delivery. Ensure proper handling, storage, and stock rotation of food ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and report stock requirements to management. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food hygiene, and company operating procedures. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes when required. Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a catering, restaurant, or food manufacturing environment. Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices. Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Able to supervise and coordinate kitchen operations and staff. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods. Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
