About this role

Job Summary A Senior Sales Executive in freight forwarding is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new commercial accounts and expanding existing client relationships. Someone who acts as the primary strategic link between a logistics provider’s supply chain capabilities(ocean/air/logistics) and B2B clients looking to optimize their global cargo movement. Drive business growth by executing targeted development strategies, securing high-value accounts across ocean and air transport modes, and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure continuous service excellence and revenue increase. Responsibilities Build and present spot-market quotes and long term contract rates. Negotiate standard pricing structures directly with clients while collaborating with trade lane managers to secure viable margins. Partner with Accounts to review customer credit applications, and assist in resolving outstanding collection issues if a commercial account falls into arrears. Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and volume growth Identify and analyze potential business sectors and initiate strategic plans to capture new growth opportunities Maintain regular communication and conduct service reviews with customers and agents to ensure high service quality and foster ongoing business relationships Benefits Competitive Base Salary with an additional of monthly allowance & with commission upon meeting the GP targets Hybrid Work Flexibility Granted additional leave above the company’s standard annual leave entitlement. Requirement Bachelor’s Degree in related field 3-5+ years of proven outdoor sales experience specifically within the freight forwarding industries Deep understanding of global trade lanes, customs regulations and ocean/air carrier networks Preferably with own customer based/existing book of business Strong negotiation, complex pricing analysis.
