Group Accountant (Immediate)

Our client, a Singapore state-owned entity (SOE) within the manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Group Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Group Accountant will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting, statutory compliance and treasury activities for the Corporate Office. The incumbent will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, perform month-end and year-end closing activities, manage AP/AR, fixed assets and management reporting, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements. The role will also support treasury operations and finance process improvement initiatives. Successful candidates can expect to work in a fast-paced environment within a well-established organization. REQUIREMENTS: Possess at least a Degree in Accountancy from a reputable university At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the Manufacturing industry Experience in preparing full sets of accounts, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting Familiar with GST, corporate tax, statutory compliance and liaising with external auditors Exposure to treasury functions such as cash flow management, banking facilities or foreign exchange transactions will be an advantage Knowledgeable in IFRS standards and Singapore accounting regulations Meticulous, organized and able to meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with ERP systems and exposure to finance process improvement or digitalisation initiatives will be an added advantage Interested applicants kindly use the apply button or send in your application in MS Word format to Kelvin Tan atXXXX@onyxrecruit.com.sg (R22111268| EA: 18C9213).
