Project Engineer (Network-Cabling)

Project Engineer (Cabling / Network) Job Responsibilities: Be part of the client’s project management team to deliver cabling/network projects involving the deployment of cabling and network devices. Project coordination with vendors and users such as requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing and support. Review project deliverables from vendors to ensure completeness and adherence to the required quality and standard. Facilitate routine clearances, site surveys and meetings. Job Requirements: Diploma in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years of working experience in cabling and network implementation project coordination from design to implementation, testing and support. Hands-on and working knowledge of outdoor cabling, structured cabling and network equipment such as firewall, switches, routers, etc. Certification in CCNA, ITIL, etc will be advantageous. Good written and verbal communication skills and experienced in managing stakeholders and vendors. Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring security clearance is required.
