Network Security Engineer

Job Description Provide project deployment for customers' Enterprise IT Network Services. Work closely with the Project Manager to fulfill project deliverables. Perform the role of Project Lead for medium to large-scale projects. Preferably possess basic knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas: Design, planning, integration, implementation, and validation LAN/WAN/WLAN: Cisco, Alcatel, Aruba routers and switches Network security solutions Security appliances: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass Network monitoring: SolarWinds Network appliances: F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM Build or migrate cloud infrastructure solutions. Troubleshooting and problem identification. Documentation skills, including creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, support, and preventive maintenance documentation. Develop test cases and conduct proof-of-concept (POC) testing for new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment. Establish TAC cases with principal vendors and manage complex issues through to resolution. Able to work flexible hours, especially during scheduled after-office maintenance windows. Requirements ITE / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Security, or equivalent. Preferably hold Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE). Experience with Cisco, Alcatel, F5, and firewall products. Experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, data networking, and security networking implementation. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail. Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
