Automation Software Test Engineer (Selenium / Cypress)

As a Software Tester, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress. Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability. Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and report defects and software quality insights. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure requirements are well understood. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in testing standards, coding practices, and overall quality. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerisation tools (e.g., Docker). Support Agile/Scrum delivery processes and iterative development cycles. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on test automation. Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Cypress frameworks. Strong programming skills in JavaScript or Python. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web application architecture. Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
