Marketing Intern (Chinese Content & Social Media) Remote (On-site Content Shoots Required) Position Overview We are looking for creative, energetic, and proactive Marketing Interns to join our growing marketing team. This is a primarily remote internship , where you'll contribute to a variety of digital marketing and content creation projects across multiple brands and industries. You'll work on real marketing campaigns, helping create engaging Chinese-language content, manage social media platforms, edit videos, and support digital marketing initiatives. While most tasks can be completed remotely, interns are expected to attend scheduled on-site filming sessions and content shoots when required for assigned projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, keeps up with Chinese digital trends, and wants hands-on experience working on diverse marketing campaigns.Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Social Media & Content Marketing Manage and grow Chinese social media platforms, including WeChat, 小红书 (Xiaohongshu), 抖音 (Douyin), and other relevant channels. Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to Chinese-speaking audiences. Develop creative content ideas based on social media trends, campaign objectives, and target audiences. Write compelling Chinese captions, articles, promotional copy, and marketing materials. Adapt content strategies for different brands, industries, and marketing campaigns. Video Production & Content Creation Plan, script, film, and professionally edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, 小红书, and 抖音. Produce promotional videos, educational content, product showcases, lifestyle videos, and brand storytelling content. Attend scheduled on-site filming sessions and content shoots for assigned projects. Assist with pre-production planning, filming coordination, and post-production editing. Ensure all creative content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Brand Representation & Community Engagement Confidently appear in front of the camera for selected marketing campaigns and promotional videos. Represent different brands professionally across social media content and digital campaigns. Respond to customer enquiries, bookings, and messages through WeChat and other communication channels when required. Support community engagement and help improve customer experience across multiple projects. Marketing Project Support Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, promotions, influencer collaborations, and product launches. Conduct competitor research, market analysis, and trend monitoring to identify new marketing opportunities. Monitor campaign and social media performance, providing recommendations to improve engagement and reach. Collaborate with internal teams across multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines. Assist with other marketing, creative, and administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements Fluent in Chinese (reading and speaking) to create content and communicate with Chinese-speaking audiences. Familiar with Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat, 小红书 (Xiaohongshu), and 抖音 (Douyin) etc. Strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and social media. Proficient in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Creative with a strong eye for visuals, storytelling, and social media trends. Comfortable appearing on camera and creating engaging video content. Able to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills. Positive attitude, adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn. Available to attend scheduled on-site filming sessions and content shoots when required.
