Software Engineer (Internship)

Job Summary Build and maintain backend software solutions that empower businesses to manage their operations efficiently. Responsibilities Develop and implement backend features using Laravel to fulfill client requirements and enhance system functionality Translate client business needs into scalable, effective technical solutions that support operational goals Write clean, maintainable code and perform comprehensive testing to ensure high software quality and reliability Collaborate with the mobile development team to integrate APIs seamlessly, ensuring smooth cross-platform functionality Conduct testing and deploy applications using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate delivery Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience developing backend systems using PHP, Go, C#, TypeScript, Java, or Python to deliver robust applications Proficient in Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) and database management to optimize data handling and query performance Strong understanding of Laravel architecture patterns, including MVC, to design maintainable and scalable applications Familiarity with queue systems and background processing to manage asynchronous tasks and improve system efficiency Competent in Unix/Linux command line operations for system management and troubleshooting Knowledge of system design fundamentals to architect scalable and resilient backend systems Understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) fundamentals using React or Vue frameworks to support frontend integration Experience with AWS infrastructure, including S3 integration, to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions Good understanding of UI/UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD to collaborate effectively on user interface considerations Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and system maintenance Familiarity with TypeScript to enhance code quality and maintainability in development projects
