Engineer (Mechanical)

Responsibilities Source and evaluate mechanical parts to support cost reduction and stable supply Set up and localize components for use in company products Review technical drawings, specifications, and requirements to assess part suitability Develop test processes and perform testing and validation of new parts Use measuring tools such as vernier calipers, height gauges, protractors, and pin gauges to check part dimensions Analyze evaluation results, identify technical issues, and propose suitable solutions Prepare and maintain test records, evaluation reports, and technical documentation Create, update, and control engineering drawings using relevant software Coordinate technical matters between design and production teams to support production needs Ensure evaluations, drawings, and procedures comply with company and industry standards Monitor assigned project progress and follow up on timelines Requirements Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield Able to read and create geometric and orthographic drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent software Able to use measuring tools (vernier calipers, height gauges, protractors, and pin gauges) Knowledge of plastic moulding or metal casting processes would be an advantage Responsible, organized, and willing to learn Other Information Working location: 2 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1, #07-03 Working hours: 8am to 530pm
