Why Join The Business Analyst is responsible for providing global functional ownership and support of the Staff Expense solution across OCBC Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, International Branches, and BOS entities (SG, HK, MY, UK, AE). The role combines business‑as‑usual (BAU) functional support, project delivery, and ongoing system enhancements, ensuring operational stability, policy compliance, and continuous improvement of the Staff Expense landscape. What you do Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Staff Expense Provide end‑to‑end functional BAU support for Staff Reimbursement Expenses and Corporate Card Expenses, including incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution coordination. Act as the functional SME for the Global Staff Expense module, with deep understanding of: - Group Expense Policy and controls - Approval workflows - Expense accounting and posting logic - End‑to‑end integrations to ERP system Own and support system configuration and maintenance, including: - Expense types and policies - Audit rules and validations - Approval hierarchies and workflows - Accounting setups and mappings Partner closely with IT teams and implementation partners to analyse, design, and deliver Change Requests (CRs) from stakeholders (e.g. HR Division, Finance Operations, Tax). Lead and ensure the quality and completeness of testing, including: -UAT planning, execution, defect management, and business sign‑off -Quarterly Upgrade regression testing and impact assessment Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and user pain points, and recommend scalable solutions from a global and group‑wide perspective. Continuously explore, assess, and implement AI‑enabled and automation capabilities within ERP system and complementary tools to enhance user experience, data quality, and operational efficiency. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems. Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP functional support, ERP system implementation/support, or finance transformation initiatives. Experience supporting regional or group‑wide ERP environments is highly desirable. Hands‑on working knowledge of ERP system; working knowledge of integration to ERP system Knowledge and exposure to related ERP system Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets. Strong understanding of expense, reimbursement, and payment controls, audit requirements, and compliance considerations. Hands‑on experience in UAT execution, including test case preparation, results validation, defect triage, and resolution coordination. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis capabilities. Ability to translate business and policy requirements into practical system configurations and functional solutions Clear and structured documentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across regions and functions.
