About this role

Prepare the overall planning and rotation of Master & Chief officer for the entire fleet vessels Prepare the overall planning and rotation of Master & Chief officer for the entire fleet vessels. Verify each Vessel Schedule from LMS and Identify the most convenient and economical port to plan for Master & Chief officer relief. Plan to Stagger Master & Chief Officer sign off one month apart. Avoid planning newly hired & new promotion Master & Chief Officer onboard same vessel. Master Shipping Schedule & Progression Planning Check the Vessel Schedule from LMS, review the vessel route and assign suitable Master based on their previous experience, last evaluation report performance, various port visa restriction (for onsigner and offsigner) and not exceeding the crew nationality count per vessel. Ensure to assign Master with relevant experience for certain route like Australia (Amsa inspection) / Chittagong / India/ US Service to handle the authorities. Plan MSTR to attend LNG Trainings & bunkering & clock sea time prior to joining LNG Vessels to ensure safe operation of the vessels. Handle due diligence in the forecast of manpower plans for Master to join bigger size Vessel to ensure sufficient manpower for our fleets. Chief Officer Shipping Schedule & Progression Planning Check the Vessel Schedule from LMS, review the vessel route and assign suitable Chief Officer based on their previous experience, last evaluation report performance, various port visa restriction (for onsigner and offsigner) and not exceeding the crew nationality count per vessel. Plan for experienced COFF to join vessel with Newly hired or Newly Promoted Mstr to assist them with the operations of ship. Ensure to assign experienced COFF with relevant experience for certain route like Australia (Amsa inspection) & US Service to handle the authorities. Plan COFF to attend LNG Trainings & bunkering & clock sea time prior to joining LNG Vessels to ensure safe operation of the vessels. Handle due diligence in the forecast of manpower plans for Chief Officer to join bigger size Vessel to ensure sufficient manpower for our fleets. Coordinate with QSSS Manager & Vessel Manager for Master & Chief Officer Assignment Plan Handle the preparation of the Last Evaluation report and Propose the most suitable Master & Chief Officer Assignment plan to Vessel Manager & QSSS Manager for Final Approval. For MSTR without Australia experience, need to seek for MPD / Tech / QSSE final approval prior to deployment. Ensure crew documentation compliance Ensure all planned relievers' documentation and training are compliance and valid within their contract tenure and highlight to person in charge for following up of any pending documentation and training. Ensure all Senior Deck Officers have valid Hazmat Training and specific Ecdis Training & PSSR 2026 cert and completed PILCOPS Training prior to joining vessel. Crew Readiness update in systems Coordinate with Manning team and crew without manning for crew readiness update for vessel planning and to predict any shortage of manpower for recruitment. Appraisal report for Master & Chief Officer Trigger appraisal evaluation report for Master for other department to proceed with the submission. Ensure Vessel submit the appraisal report for all Chief Officer signing off for us to monitor their performance onboard. Follow up with Manning agent to ensure crew is briefed on the areas for improvement or to complete relevant Trainings prior to their next joining. Checking PILCOPS completion status and follow up with crew for joining within 2 weeks period Monitor and Follow up with the PILCOPS completion status for all joining Master & Chief Officer. Ensure that the crews complete PILCOPS two weeks prior to joining vessel. Follow up to prevent any delays in vessel joining. Issue Hazmat online test and update the hazmat certificate in systems Send Hazmat user guide to Master & Chief officer for them to complete Hazmat online training when required. Upon crew completion of Training, send the crew details for Namtc to issue Hazmat Cert. Send the Hazmat cert to crew and for PIC/ Manning agent to upload in bassnet. Conduct Physical or Online Briefing with Master & Chief Officer prior to joining vessel Conduct physical or online briefing with Master & Chief officer prior to joining vessel to brief them of the our assignment planning and to assist crew with regards to their queries.
