Senior / Staff Nurse (Pmc, Dermatology)

The Role: The incumbent will provide comprehensive nursing care and patient education to patients attending the Dermatology Clinic at Parkway Medicentre, in accordance with established clinical protocols, departmental SOPs, and standards of care. Key Accountabilities: Working closely with the Dermatologist, the nurse will assist in consultations, support a wide range of dermatological procedures and treatments, prepare patients for examinations, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and seamless patient experience. Involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth clinic operations, maintain procedural efficiency, and deliver high-quality patient care. Practise within own level of competence to promote safety of self and patients in accordance with SNB code of practise and core competencies coded in SNB. Deliver quality and safe nursing care to patients. Assist doctors on clinical procedures and venepuncture. Perform treatments as prescribed by doctors. Perform clinical measurements including but not limited to nebuliser, ECG, stress ECG (treadmill). Cardiopulmonary resuscitation: Perform rescue ventilation with bag-valve-mask device and external cardiac massage. Ensure proper follow up on the treatment plans. Provide information, updates, and education to patients and/or caregivers. Management of patient’s medical reports and demonstrate proper use and care of equipment. Maintain proper documentation of day-to-day nursing records. Identify process gaps and provide solution when necessary. Provide guidance and mentoring of junior staffs when necessary. Any other ad hoc duties assigned. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma in Nursing and recognised by Singapore Nursing Board, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar job position and department Has a valid BCLS&AED Cert Prior experience in Dermatology settings would be an advantage Able to communicate with patients from all backgrounds and has good written and verbal communication skills Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, such as answering patients’ queries, administration of procedures and manage timeline Able to handle IT aspects of the job (Eg.
