Principal Java Engineer

Job Summary You will design and develop scalable Java-based microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership to deliver robust payment solutions aligned with business needs and industry standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and design scalable Java-based systems aligned with business requirements and industry best practices Develop and deploy Java-based microservices using appropriate frameworks and tools to support platform functionality Write and maintain high-quality code for core components and features, ensuring reliability and performance Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers to promote best practices and maintain code quality Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize system scalability and responsiveness Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues to deliver innovative and effective solutions Preferred competencies and qualifications Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying Java-based microservices architectures Strong knowledge of modern architectural patterns and design principles, including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native patterns Proven ability to mentor and guide developers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development practices. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools. Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
