Job ID: 20336 Location: City Hall / Bras Basah Working hours: 9am - 6pm Salary: up to $6,000 (Depending on experiences) Job Description Support the design and development of automation solutions using PLC, Robot, Motion Control and Vision technologies. Assist in the selection and preparation of electrical components and purchase lists for automation control systems. Participate in automation projects involving machine improvement, cycle time reduction and productivity enhancement. Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs to ensure stable machine operations. Support the programming and integration of Vision Systems, Robots, AGVs and Servo Systems. Collect machine execution timing data, prepare timing charts and assist in cycle time analysis. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal stakeholders and customers. Coordinate with internal departments, HQ and overseas subsidiaries to resolve technical issues. Liaise with suppliers and customers, including those based in China, on technical matters. Prepare technical documentation, reports and project-related records. Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirement Bachelor's Degree in Motion Control, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in motion control, automation or machine control systems. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming, servo systems, robots and motion control technologies. Candidates with experience in Semiconductor, Display or Secondary Battery industries will have an added advantage. Candidates with experience in machine builders or manufacturing environments are preferred. Able to analyse technical issues and work collaboratively to develop practical solutions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel when required.
