As a Field Service Engineer , you will be the technical representative of the company, delivering high-quality onsite support to customers. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Gas Purification Systems, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Gas Purification Systems at customer sites. Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Diagnose equipment faults, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions. Respond promptly to service requests and resolve technical issues to achieve high first-time fix rates. Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation after each service activity. Provide technical guidance and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and effective communication. Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and operations teams to resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement. Ensure full compliance with company safety policies and customer site safety requirements, particularly within semiconductor manufacturing environments. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support within the semiconductor, industrial equipment, or related industries. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to fault diagnosis. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments. Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites. Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations. Car allowance provided Working hour -8.30am- 5.30pm, but may have Overtime depending.
